Groups are encouraged to greet at either the airport or one of the Memorials.  It’s a great way for a company, alumni group, scout troop, church or civic organization to give back.  Please feel free to wear your group’s t-shirt and bring patriotic banners and signs; however any propaganda or advertising is strictly prohibited.

Musical Entertainment for Honor Flight arrivals at DCA

There is nothing more special than having a band, choir or other musical entertainment performing as the Veterans take their first steps off the plane or through security!  This is a great surprise that they Veterans typically don’t expect, and it sets the tone for the wonderful day they will experience while in DC.

The DCA Ground Crew can help organize entertainment for arrivals on SWA and Sun Country in Terminal 1.  There is a wonderful alcove immediately after the TSA exit that makes a wonderful acoustical environment for entertainers.  There is electrical power at that location.
